There are certain topics in history like Freedom, Slavery, Wars and other concepts which we cannot be explain them through words. To explain it you need to provide a realistic vision to your child. There are various museums, war sites etc where you can take your kids to show the recent historical events. Also, the cultural museums which depict the art and craft followed in those days. They can easily visualize and understand how hard the life was in the past.

Most of the historical sites are now deserted and ruined completely either due to wars or natural calamities. These historical places can make them aware what has been destroyed.
