Aerobotics Global a leading STEM education provider company specializing in Robotics and Coding and is looking to hire a teacher. They will be responsible to teach students from Grade 1 to Grade 10. This role requires you to engage with primary school students. You will be teaching children to build and code robots.

STEM Robotics Instructor (Part-Time)

Location: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (Australia) & Online

Deliver engaging, hands-on robotics and coding lessons to students from Grade 1
to Grade 10. Turn complex concepts into fun, accessible challenges.

A successful candidate must have:

  • Engineering Qualification (Bachelors/Masters) or Completed Year 12 (VCE or equivalent) from Australia, New Zealand, or similar. OR Completing a teaching degree.
  • Familiar with robotics and coding.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems.
  • Logical and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to perform ad-hoc tasks including setting up the venue, carrying the kits, and cleaning up afterwards.
  • Self-driven and self-motivated
  • Long-term commitment preferred.

Essential requirements:

  • A genuine passion for teaching, inspiring, and working with children (Grades 1–10).
  • A current **Working with Children Check (Employee)** or willingness to obtain one immediately.
  • Reliability and a **long-term commitment** to our students and programs.
  • Willingness to handle logistical tasks (setting up/packing down the venue, carrying robotics kits).
Ideal Candidate Profile

Education

  • Engineering Qualification (Bachelors/Masters)
  • OR Completed Year 12 (VCE or equivalent)
  • OR Completing a teaching degree

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with robotics and coding
  • Knowledge of embedded systems (e.g., Arduino)
  • Strong logical and analytical skills

PLEASE NOTE: This is a part-time opportunity with shifts ranging from 2 to 5 hours per week on weekdays based upon your availability.
